purpose of this proposal is to provide the most efficient
way to manage and control a host of freight vehicle and to
make the traffic run smoothly and efficiently. The Black
Box System enables central control Center to take an
appropriate measure by real-time monitoring of either the
status of a freight vehicle or of its freight. in addition,
it features prevention of vehicle accident and crime, as
well as enhancement of the reliability on freight delivery
by establishing clear cut lines of responsibility between
the owners of freight and vehicle through the exact analysis
of the cause of an accident. |

BASIC CONFIGURATION

FUNCTIONS
OF BLACK BOX SYSTEM
The basic function
of this system is to monitor the current location of the vehicle
and status of the freight using GPS engine/antenna and analyze
the cause of an accident of the vehicle with its built -in Black
Box.
Location
of the vehicle
The system
provides monitoring of the current location of the vehicle and
plotting on a standard map to enable the control of the delivery
status of the freight with ease.
Status of
the freight
The contents
and loading status of the freight can be checked at the Central
Control Center.
Operating
status of the vehicle
Speed and operating
status of the vehicle can be checked at the Central Control Center.
Analysis
of the accident
The recorded
and maintained data related to an accident, such as details of
the accident, status of the vehicle, and circumstances around
the vehicle can be analyzed accurately so that the exact cause
of the accident can be traced.
Prevention
of vehicle crash
The system
can measure the distance between the vehicles and give the driver
an alarm informing close range between the vehicles to prevent
a crash in advance.
Linked with
ITS ( Intelligent Transportation System)
Linked with
Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) module, it enables Central Control
Center to know the status of automatic toll collection.
Real time
data inquiry
All functions
described above can be checked and monitored real-time from a
remote control center via radio network.
Dispatch
to the vehicle
The Central
Control Center can dispatch the necessary message to the radio
terminal installed in the vehicle using SMS (Short Message Service).

Component
Explanation
Use of public
network
This system
can be used by linking with an existing public radio network,
such as cellular, PCS, radio or wireless service. The usage of
public network is reccomended due to the high implementation
cost of a dedicated radio network.
Control center
equipment
- Vehicle
Monitoring Device: receives data from vehicle via public radio
network operator and generates various types of data to implement
the required functions of this system. this device can be composed
with the several functional consoles as necessary.
- VDA (Video
Distribution amplifier) :generates an RGB signal and amplifies
the signal to enable the projector to display the computer
screen output.
- Matrix switcher:
enables to switch a multiple image input into the multiple
projector output, consisting of the required number of input/output
device.

to make variuos combinations of displays onto the large screen.

Installed
equipment of vehicle
A. Black
Box: The system can be linked with other sensors and additional
devices of the vehicle to implement various functions. Especially,
the diaster prevention memory is designed to be protected from
any dangerous situation occured from vehicle accident in order
to analyze the accident.
B. Radio
Network Terminal: is adaptable to all kinds of terminals,
such as cellular phone, PCS, and radio data modem. It also
enables the Central Control Centermonitor the status of vehicles
and to dispatch the necesary order to the vehicle by real-time
communication between the Black Box and control center. Both
voice communication and data communication using SMS is available
via cellular phone and PCS.
C. GPS Engine/Antenna:
enables to monitor the location of vehicle and the GPS engine
can be installed inside the Black Box.
D. Wheel
sesor/Detector: installed on the wheel can minutely measure
the degree of the wheel to analyse the status of vehicle in
case of vehicle accident.
E. Speed
Sensor/Break Contact Point: enables to acquire the vehicle
speed and the operation status data.
F. CCD Color
Camera: installed on the front or back of the vehicle enables
to save the image of accident moment and specific condition
outside vehicle.
G. Super-sonic
Distance Meter: gives the griver an alrm informing close
range between the vehicles to prevent a crash.
H. Impact
Sensor: enables to control the save of image using the
impact of an accident.
I. Barcode
Reader; enables to acquire the contents of freight.
J. Load
cell: enables to acquire the loading status of the freight.
K. ETC:
enables to acquire the transmission route and the charge status
of the vehicle linked with the electronic Tollgate Collection
System.
